MH21 is a Japan National Project. Japan Drilling Company, Ltd.,
is a primary participant.
JDC has a target of undertaking the world's first sustained drill

Coast of Japan. This test will be preceded by coring operations
in late FY 2003, and then extensive technology development leading
to a successful test in FY 2007.
SEPI has been appointed by JDC to assist in the development of
this exceptionally important pioneering effort.
The JDC Goal: To develop an HSE validated well plan which has
the ability to ensure maximum reservoir exposure, and the flexibility
to facilitate sustained, commercial levels of Methane Hydrate production.
